McCandless Truck Center

Project Summary

McCandless International Trucks is the local dealer for International Truck and Engine Corp. in the Rocky Mountain area.  This new facility in Gateway Park will be their sales/service facility. Project consists of pad and spread footings, SOG ( 8 inch in service area) site cast exterior walls, bar joists, metal deck and EDPM roof.  Office/Showroom is a two-story element that includes regional offices, training and conference areas served by a two stop hydraulic elevator.  First floor includes a sales area with a retail parts counter. Service area is 41,000 feet and includes 27 service/ maintenance bays,  body shop with 12 bays and a down draft paint booth capable of painting two trucks at once.  Service and body shops include a 5 ton and 2 ton bridge cranes respectively. Radiant heating for shop areas and RTUs for the office, sales, and parts counter.  Full site development on 16-acre site includes steel perimeter fencing and tank farm.
