Boulder Indoor Sports

Project Summary

This four-module sport complex contains two soccer fields under different roofs. The entry / office module contains a mezzanine viewing area for spectators. The exterior wall coverings are made up of multiple colors and panel profiles which satisfied the planning departments while avoiding high cost masonry / stucco materials. The trapezoidal rib standing seam roof has a 50-year life expectancy in our high desert climate. Finally, one third of the metal building system erected is recycled steel, and 100% of the product erected will recycle once this building has completed its service life. The owner and his selected GC, hired dcb Construction Company Inc. for the design assist, supply and erection of this indoor soccer facility and was a repeat customer who experienced the dcb team performance with a similar facility.
