Fine Parking
Aurora, CO
Project Summary
Fine Airport Parking consist of a 700,000 square foot, single-sloped nine-phase, pre-engineered metal covered parking structure, and uncovered parking lot. This mega metal building project is one of the largest pre-engineered metal building structures in the Denver metro area and required jack beams in strategic areas to provide large column free areas adjacent to the customer lobby and VIP parking staging areas. In order to support the structure on deep lying bedrock a total of 600, 36’ caissons were used to bring the structural support to the surface. The logistics included a staging area of over 150,000 sf and the unloading of almost 164 flatbed semi-trucks containing approximately 4.5 million pounds of steel framing and sheeting. The overall appearance was an open and clean concept, utilizing natural light and the gloss of the tan seal coated floor.
